“What made me choose PR as my career?”
PR has the power to change people’s perceptions and influence them. But when this power comes in good hands, great things happen.
I completed my graduation in mass communication from Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies. And because of this I can say what the communication industry is all about. As I have always been an interactive and a keen to know things person, PR seems like a field where I could use those skills to craft messages that resonate with people and build a positive image for organisations or causes I believe in. Because of this I instantly knew that this inspires me to choose PR as my career!
As someone who has not seen the outside world much and have not experienced things yet, this would be a great opportunity for me to see and furthermore, learn how things work. PR seems like a great way to connect with brands, journalists, influencers and the public, all while working towards a common goal. I would love to learn about the campaigns and crisis communication as well as digital PR, all that falls under one umbrella- Public Relations, as I choose PR as my career. Moreover, we are the brand custodians of the brands and the clients have trust and faith in PR professionals to uphold the reputation.

Although SCoRe offers experiential learning, it offers countless opportunity to build networks with the communication leaders. From Day 1, the students are treated as Professionals and not as students. The best part about SCoRe, being the faculty, that consists of the PR and Corporate Communication leaders. A faculty that belongs to the fraternity of public relations- this has helped me choose PR as my career.
I look forward to grow myself, know my potentials and work towards a better PR career for myself.
