And we all know that the reason for this need of upgradation is that our profession is evolving very fast, making Professional Development programmes ESSENTIAL!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As a school that is dedicated to the professional development, education and\u00a0research\u00a0in public relations and reputation management, SCoRe aims to upskill the current communications strategists as well. We hope that we are constantly able to fill the gaps that are present in the current workforce.\u00a0 Hence we have introduced Professional Development <a href=\"http:\/\/scoreindia.org\/corporate.html\">programmes <\/a>&#8211; short-term part-time programmes that are tailored for communications professionals.<\/p>\n<p>Our\u00a0Professional Development for Corporates consist of the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/scoreindia.org\/corporate.html?apply=5a#learningtab\"><strong>Advanced\u00a0Certificate in Public Relations\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The practice of Public Relations is becoming fascinatingly complex. For one thing, today\u2019s PR professional can\u2019t do with just media engagement expertise. They need to be at least jacks of paid and owned media, while being master of earned media.<\/p>\n<p>The programme gives a powerful addition of fundamental and technical skills of PR. Besides being easily accessible to working professionals and students (Tue, Wed, Sat, 6-8pm), the programme packs several important aspects of PR into nearly 10 weeks of training:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Business Writing:\u00a0 <\/strong>Focusing on effective research and writing skills, especially from the perspective of designing\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/scoreindia.org\/blog\/creating-great-content-publicrelations\/\">powerful content<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Public Relations Techniques and Practice:\u00a0<\/strong>Familiarising participants to various kinds of PR practices,\u00a0&amp; help develop their own consulting toolkit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Media Management:\u00a0<\/strong>Taking\u00a0participants through the dynamics of media \u2013 from understanding the media ecosystem to effectively engaging it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital Media:\u00a0<\/strong>Spot opportunities to wield the power of Paid, Earned, Search, and Owned (PESO Model), to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/scoreindia.org\/blog\/public-relations-is-becoming-more-digital\/\">maximise reach of campaigns<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. <a href=\"http:\/\/scoreindia.org\/corporate.html?apply=1a#learningtab\">Advanced Communications for Executives<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These are our certificate programmes of shorter duration, designed for communications professionals looking to add specialised capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>The programmes will focus on skills like \u2018writing\u2019 which are the backbone of the public relations profession. Almost every communications expert will agree that currently there are only a very few writers in the profession who we are \u2018excellent\u2019. Our programme \u2018ACE Writing\u2019 hopes to make all or most PR professionals excellent writers. Our other programmes will focus on acquiring skills like political communications, digital marketing, data analytics, employee engagement among others.<\/p>\n<p>3. <a href=\"http:\/\/scoreindia.org\/corporate.html?apply=2a#learningtab\">Accelerator in Reputation and Communications<\/a><\/p>\n<p>These in-house training for corporates are designed specifically for their training and professional development needs. It involves through study of Learning and Organisational development (L&amp;OD) goals of communications teams (in consultation with communications heads and human resources (HR) teams) and designing and delivering a training programme that addresses them.<\/p>\n<p>Professional Development is not a choice but \u2018<a href=\"http:\/\/www.instituteforpr.org\/ksas-entry-level-pr-profs\/\">a must<\/a>\u2019 for the Public Relations professionals today.
