Writing in my opinion was penning down a few lines on any given topic. Very often they were just random thoughts which I would jot down, in some corner of my note-book. I never wrote on anything specific. My inspiration was usually the garden outside my window or simply my daily travel to & fro college. I would at times write to make some person feel special; in short I could write.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Later I was told to start a blog and write something every week. It didn\u2019t have to be on any specific topic, it was just putting some method to the randomness, according to them. But that was when Me & my writing started getting affected.<\/p>\n

The very fact that the world would now read my amateur\u00a0 thoughts intimidated me & I slowly stopped writing. As I read new blogs and was added to different writers groups I felt I no longer had anything interesting to say and nothing new to add to all that existed.<\/p>\n

Every time I would sit to write, I found myself drifting away so easily and getting distracted by some minuscule thing. That\u2019s when I came across the idea of free writing. I realized my random writings were all free writing. They were my thoughts & didn\u2019t follow the punctuation do\u2019s & don\u2019ts most of the time. To top it all they were all inspired by anyone or anything that came under the gaze of my pupil.<\/p>\n

While writing this I realized, I have been inactive all this time for excuses that I can endlessly produce but not justify. So here I am getting back to maybe the only way of expressing my mind & everything that goes on in there; my blog posts.<\/p>\n

I came across this quote sometime back by Hilary Mantel, it was maybe the universe talking to me & telling me to get back. But I\u2019d like to share it with you, \u201cIf you get stuck, get away from your desk. Take a walk, take a bath, go to sleep, make a pie, draw, listen to \u00admusic, meditate, exercise; whatever you do, don\u2019t just stick there scowling at the problem. But don\u2019t make telephone calls or go to a party; if you do, other people\u2019s words will pour in where your lost words should be. Open a gap for them, create a space. Be patient.\u201d<\/p>\n

So if at all anyone of you get stuck and come to a point where you don\u2019t know what to say or even can\u2019t find the right words to say it, \u2018Be patient\u2019 It will come to you\u2026 eventually.<\/p>\n
