He mainly came on to discuss the importance of Regional media in PR and how to reach very specific hyper-local target groups through the help of regional media.<\/p>\n<p class=\"hj hk ft hl b hm hn ho hp hq hr hs ht hu hv hw hx hy hz ia ib ic dh gp\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\"><em>Related: <a href=\"https:\/\/scoreindia.org\/blog\/regional-pr-important\/\">Why Regional PR is Important in India\u00a0<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p id=\"5bde\" class=\"hj hk ft hl b hm id hn ho hp ie hq hr hs if ht hu hv ig hw hx hy ih hz ia ic dh gp\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">He also emphasised on the importance of Public Relations and how, according to him, every single human being is always either doing one of two things \u2014 a) trying to sell something to the people around them or, b) building your own reputation.<\/p>\n<p id=\"9e4d\" class=\"hj hk ft hl b hm id hn ho hp ie hq hr hs if ht hu hv ig hw hx hy ih hz ia ic dh gp\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">M<span id=\"rmm\">u<\/span>kesh also taught us how, in life, we are going to face a lot of hurdles, personally, professionally etc. and cribbing about it is not going to help our cause. We need to stop cribbing and start overcoming the hurdles and move on in life. Curiosity to gain more knowledge is going to be very helpful for a budding PR professional.<\/li>\n<li id=\"d544\" class=\"hj hk ft hl b hm il hn ho hp im hq hr hs in ht hu hv io hw hx hy ip hz ia ic ii ij ik gp\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Build Connections \u2014 As a PR professional, building connections with all kinds of people is extremely important.<\/li>\n<li id=\"56d5\" class=\"hj hk ft hl b hm il hn ho hp im hq hr hs in ht hu hv io hw hx hy ip hz ia ic ii ij ik gp\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Stand your Ground \u2014 Do not let people run over you. You have to have your own perspective and be aware of your ego at the same time. He shared a lot of jokes as well that kept us engaged and focussed on the session as people generally start to lose their attention within a few minutes in virtual classes. She interned with Avian WE and was recruited by the firm for their Mumbai office. She is from the city of joy Kolkata. A little background, her mother\u2019s from Rajasthan, a Jain Marwari, her father\u2019s from Punjab a Sikh Punjabi and because both her parents work her brother and she spent a lot of time with her maternal grandmother who\u2019s a UPite, so would like to say that she has quite a diverse background and she loves to explore new cultures.
