SCoRe is pleased to announce the Welde Memorial Scholarship.<\/p>\n

The scholarship is instated in memory of the late Anil Welde by his family.<\/p>\n

The scholarship will identify and support\u00a0three\u00a0deserving youngsters<\/strong>\u00a0who have potential to create an impact in the world of Public Relations and Reputation Management. The scholarship comprises financial support of Rs. 2,00,000\/- (40% of the 2024 programme fees) for each selected student.<\/p>\n

In addition, the recipients will also have special access to mentorship from the sponsors through the course of the programme towards their professional and personal development.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the vision of\u00a0the Welde Memorial Scholarship, Rahul Welde, based in London, UK, said \u201cWe will be delighted if the scholarship helps outstanding students achieve their potential. We hope they flourish in their careers, and in 25 years\u2019 time give back in the same way, by supporting the next generation of budding professionals.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eligibility\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

All students who have been selected for the Class of 2022 and have confirmed their admissions are eligible to apply.<\/p>\n

Application Process<\/strong><\/p>\n

The application process comprises two steps:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Statement of Purpose: A written submission to be made by interested candidates on their purpose to pursue a career in Public Relations, and their motivations to succeed therein.<\/li>\n
  2. Interviews:\u00a0Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with the mentors,\u00a0to discuss the candidates\u2019 capabilities and their vision for their future.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Other aspects of the applicants\u2019 profiles such as prior academic and professional performance, volunteering work, economic background, etc., will also be considered in awarding the scholarships.<\/p>\n
