It always sounded vague to me\u2026 until it actually happened.<br>Graduated in Science, I had little to no idea about Public Relations. I\u2019ve always been curious, loved learning, and enjoyed figuring out how things work. Science gave me a solid foundation in problem-solving, critical thinking, and research. But deep down, I always felt this creative itch I couldn\u2019t ignore. Constantly scrolling through my phone, staying updated with what\u2019s new in the market and trending on social media \u2014 I realized that I was more fascinated by storytelling than scientific theories. That\u2019s when the tables started to turn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Did_My_Journey_into_PR_Begin\"><\/span>How Did My Journey into PR Begin?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If someone had told me a few years ago that I\u2019d be trading science textbooks for beauty campaigns and press kits, I would\u2019ve laughed. But here I am today \u2014 a content creator and daily vlogger, living a life that was once just a side hobby.<br>What began as a creative outlet soon became something much bigger. Each post, reel, or caption taught me the power of communication \u2014 how words and visuals could engage, inform, and inspire.<br>I wasn\u2019t just showing off products; I was building relationships, earning trust, and influencing perceptions. That\u2019s when it clicked \u2014 this is what PR is all about. Since then, I\u2019ve been diving deep into this world, learning something new every day. The more I explored, the more I realized how Public Relations aligns perfectly with my interests \u2014 and the variety it offers just makes it all the more exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_Did_I_Choose_to_Explore_a_Career_in_Public_Relations\"><\/span>Why Did I Choose to Explore a Career in Public Relations?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To me, PR is much more than storytelling. It\u2019s about crafting narratives that can create impact, influence opinions, and build long-term trust for brands and organizations. My curiosity about how brands work behind the scenes and what a PR professional really does has only grown stronger over time.<br>The more I researched and understood the role of PR, the clearer it became: this is the career I want to pursue. It allows me to blend creativity with strategy, people skills with communication, and content with purpose.<br>Five years down the line, I see myself waking up every day excited to go to work \u2014 because as a PR professional, every single day brings something new to the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Does_Public_Relations_Mean_to_Me_Today\"><\/span>What Does Public Relations Mean to Me Today?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In my eyes, Public Relations today is about building and maintaining strong relationships with the public and stakeholders on behalf of a brand. It&#8217;s about providing visibility and ensuring that reputation stays intact \u2014 especially in times of crisis.<br>PR is not a one-step process. It involves multiple aspects like creating impactful campaigns, managing crises, doing PR stunts, and staying true to the brand\u2019s voice with honesty and authenticity. It\u2019s about mastering the art of storytelling, while also being strategic in communication.<br>I want to be someone who understands how to create compelling campaigns, handle media relations, engage stakeholders, and help brands build a credible and trustworthy image. Unlike traditional academic programs that mostly focus on theory, SCoRe teaches by doing. Its curriculum mirrors the real world of PR \u2014 from day one.<br>What stood out for me was how SCoRe focuses on shaping students into industry-ready professionals. The institute brings in CEOs of top PR firms, senior communication strategists, and brand reputation experts to mentor students. That means we don\u2019t just study case studies \u2014 we live them.<br>Every class, every session, and every project is designed to replicate real-life PR scenarios. Whether it\u2019s handling a brand crisis, pitching stories to journalists, or creating a campaign from scratch \u2014 the hands-on experience is everything someone like me could ask for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Kind_of_Learning_Experience_Was_I_Looking_For\"><\/span>What Kind of Learning Experience Was I Looking For?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As someone who truly believes in learning through experience rather than just reading theories, SCoRe\u2019s practical approach gives me the best of both worlds. From consultancy visits and PR summits to live projects and internships, it\u2019s all about learning in the field.<br>Assignments aren\u2019t just academic \u2014 they\u2019re actual exercises in confidence and competence.
