The art of storytelling is how you create an idea and tell it as a story to your clients to make your project stand out. We have to understand that not everyone can hone the skill of story-telling, and that, we need to sell our story out for our brand to get itched into the minds of the customers.

Shashidhar Nanjundaiah, Chief Storytelling Officer, Enzen Global Solutions, took a session on his work-related field with twenty students of Public Relations in Mumbai. He said, “The art of storytelling is a way people internalize someone else’s experience, carry it forward.”

Shashidhar Nanjundaiah further gave contours of corporate Art of storytelling:

• Persuasive message– The story that one is narrating has to be persuasive.  This is the major difference between a story and an expression. An expression cannot derive persuasion from people, but a story can.
• Non-fictional– When telling a story to the clients, and is opinionated towards the brands, the idea has to be progressed in a very methodical way. The clients are super strategic and want to waste no time.
• Aligns with organisational goals– With corporate campaigns come greater ideas. One has to align storytelling in order to achieve greater organisational goals.
• Has outcomes– Storytelling, if told in a good way, bring you bigger outcomes.

AMRIT- The process of Pentapod:

• Audience– The target audience of the story.
• Message–  The key message one delivers in the storytelling.
• Relatability–  The action has to be relatable in every way to the target audience.
• Intrigue– The part of the story where the climax builds or turns the plot in order to surprise or intrigue the audience.
• Takeaway– The takeaway of the story bees the impact that story has on a target audience.
