Although, after my graduation my focus was on building career for me, I always gravitated towards careers that allowed me to be creative and tell stories. When I discovered PR, it felt like hitting the jackpot! It’s this amazing world where you get to craft messages that resonate with a target audience, but you also have the freedom to explore different formats – social media posts, engaging press releases, even creative video content. It’s like having a whole communication toolbox at your disposal!
PR also offers this fantastic blend of strategy and creativity. You get to be analytical and think through campaigns, but there’s also plenty of room to be playful with language and find unique ways to tell a brand’s story. The dynamic nature of the field keeps things interesting, and the chance to make a real impact on how an organization is perceived is incredibly motivating.
