In April this year our institute completed 6 years. Looking back, we see two periods which stand out. The first was our beginning – an energetic phase of discovery of the space we’re in and the value that we can add to it. The second was when the global pandemic shot us back into our (re)discovery phase (as I imagine it did for so many of us). Over the past year we have been re-imagining our role withing the Indian PR business. The outcome of this contemplation gives us direction for the near future and we are glad that we now have the guidance of a veteran communications leader through it.
We are incredibly pleased to welcome Ritu Bararia as Senior Director at SCoRe. Ritu is a passionate Public Relations and Communications professional with a progressive experience of over 18 years, Ritu is an expert in the realm of Travel, Hospitality and Aviation. She is a published author and her book The Little Joys of Communication discusses traditional PR and communications practices for several brands and corporate houses.
Ritu will be heading special projects at SCoRe. PR Club a virtual, learning community of corporate communications and PR professionals will enter its Season 2 this year. Ritu will build the 20 sessions of the PR Club, delivered over 10 months, where members will get to learn from experts on 8 cutting edge topics, ranging from AI and Blockchain, to Campaign Planning.
Besides this, Ritu will also serve as a counsellor to the students of our Post Graduate Programme, and other training programmes run by SCoRe. As a counsellor, Ritu’s experience will be crucial in helping the students of our various programmes (mostly young professionals) align themselves better with the expectations of communications practices.
Speaking on the association, Ritu said, “I am delighted to be a part of India’s only independent institute of PR and Communications. The sincerity and professionalism which SCoRe has been exhibiting is truly commendable. With this association, I hope to contribute to the fraternity in a much more meaningful, dedicated and innovative way than I could as a corporate leader.”
We are confident that with Ritu’s guidance we will be able to further strengthen our value in the PR learning space.
