Inclusivity and Equality are the crucial reasons in this day and age; for which we celebrate International Women’s Day, on March 8th, every year. Likewise, these two words best describe Ms. Dimple Kapur, who is a vocal advocate of the said concepts.
A career spanning two decades plus of experience in diverse industry verticals of Corporate Communications, in both corporate and agency roles. Dimple expertises in corporate reputation management, corporate strategy, crisis communication, marketing communications and advocacy. She is also a part of a number of panels and forums for many International events.
Starting her career in Burson Marsteller Roger Pereira Communications Pvt. Ltd., Dimple has worked across multiple companies and agencies including Qualcomm India & South Asia, OCS, The PRactice, Corporate Voice Shandwick PR and Genesis PR. Additionally, she worked for 5 years at the Piramal Group as Group Head, Corporate Communications, before joining Pernod Ricard, India (PRI) as VP/ Head of Corporate Communications in September, last year.
In addition to a stellar career in Corporate Communications, she strongly champions issues such gender diversity and women empowerment; attending and gracing several conclaves, forums, and events centered around the same. Through such events she continues to be an inspiration to her peers, colleagues and budding professionals, especially women.
A strong advocate for women empowerment, Dimple upholds her beliefs in and outside of work, which is reflected in her choices. Being a part of the Pernod Ricard Group (PRG) whose culture aims to increase diverse representation and strengthen inclusion at all levels, is one of the examples. Additionally being a part of an organization wherein, leadership comprises 30% of women directors; is another example of her support towards Women representation in Leadership roles.
This Women’s Day, inspired by distinguished women like Dimple Raisurana Kapur, we intend to continue to advocate, uphold and support empowerment, representation and inclusion of women across all sectors of employment with equal opportunities for growth and development. More power to her!
