Twisha Gupta, Student of Summer Class of 2025, writes in her blog what inspired her to choose PR course. Public Relations, often dubbed the art of communication, serves as the bridge between organisations and their target audience. For me, the decision to delve into the realm of Public Relations (PR) wasn’t just about finding a job; it was about aligning my passion for social interaction with a profession that thrives on building connections, shaping narratives, and fostering meaningful relationships.
I got the spark media studies in Class 11 when I got the opportunity to choose Mass Media as a stream. This decision opened a door to a world that was both exciting and enlightening. As I dove deeper into the curriculum, I became fascinated by the various facets of media, from journalism and advertising to digital media and public relations.

During my studies, I explored various sectors within media – journalism, advertising, digital media, and broadcast. Each sector had its unique appeal, but none resonated with me quite like Public Relations. What sets PR apart for me is its intrinsic focus on people – understanding their needs, addressing their concerns, and cultivating lasting relationships built on trust and transparency. It is the perfect blend of creativity, strategy, and human connection – the very elements that had captivated me when I first chose Mass Media in Class 11.
From a young age, the dynamics of human interaction has been calling me. As an extrovert with a penchant for socialising, I thrive in environments where interpersonal skills are paramount. Public Relations not only will allow me to leverage my natural affinity for communication but also challenges me to think creatively, adapt swiftly, and forge meaningful connections wherever I go. Moreover, the fast- paced nature of the PR industry keeps me engaged and invigorated, fueling my passion for continuous learning and growth.

Choosing PR as my career wasn’t just a professional decision; it was a calling. Fueled by passion, purpose, and a profound belief in the power of communication. To drive into a positive change.
